Next working bee:
This site is at the old dump next to the Inglis River walking track. Park at the end of Austin Street and walk upstream. We will be doing light maintenance work - removing guards and tie-ing up the plants, etc
Come along to our open day on the 11 October  from 12 - 3pm.  Explore the reserve and learn about its history, natural values and important role in supporting local biodiversity. Environmental Officers from the Cradle Coast NRM and Landcare Tasmania will provide talks on their work to promote biodiversity in our community. This is a free event! An intensive planting of grass to stop runoff and erosion at the platypus bend of Camp Creek
Between the showers of the previous week, we were blessed with a perfect day for planting at the Austin St. site at  the Inglis River.  A big THANK YOU to all that attended and made the day special and enjoyable. We expect the shrubs and grasses to thrive in this area and provide valuable habitat, especially  for waterbirds.

WHAT WE DO: We are a group of volunteers who work with community and different agencies to help fix environmental problems. We plant native flora, remove weeds, repair degraded habitats, and train and educate the public.
